Prescriptions
Medicines can only be prescribed by Dr Harvey. Initial prescribing is done during an examination appointment. Requests for modifications to or additions to medicines must be made directly to Dr Harvey via her cell, or during an appointment. Pricing is only given to current clients at the time of their appointment.
The doctor prescribes medicines for the following issues:
- Infection: Lung, Skin, Ear, Eye, UTI, Intestinal, Etc.
- Heart function
- Allergies
- Nausea
- Acute and Chronic Pain
- Long Term issues such as Seizures
In-house, Flea/Tick/Heartworm prescriptions include but are not limited to
Flea & Tick Preventative: Bravecto, Nexgard, Cedelio
Flea & Heartworm Preventative: Revolution(generic), Trifexis
Heartworm Preventative: Heartgard Plus, Iverhart Max
Prescription Refill Requests: By phone at (316) 681-0515 leave a voicemail
- Include your first and last name, your pet’s name, the medicine being requested, and a contact phone number
- In-house call-in prescriptions (if in stock) take 1-3 days to be filled.
- We will call you when the script is ready
- Pick up (ONLY) is available at the retail front counter Tues-Sat from 11 am-6 pm
- Prescriptions are removed from pick-up 14 days after we call you for pickup
- Call-in prescriptions are not available for online pharmacies.
- Call-in prescriptions for third-party pharmacies (Walmart, Walgreens, Costco, Dillon’s, etc) require renewal appointments every 6-12 months.
- Leave the name, location, and phone number of your preferred pharmacy
- Call-in prescriptions to third parties can take 7-10 days to occur and may require a direct call with Dr Harvey, so please plan ahead
Written prescriptions for online pharmacies or third-party pharmacies (Walmart, Walgreens, Costco, Etc.) require renewal appointments every 3-6 months.
